Description
The Extang Solid Fold ALX is a premium hard-folding tonneau cover engineered for rugged protection, weather resistance, and everyday convenience. Built from lightweight yet strong 1-inch thick EnduraShield™ TPO panels mounted on an aircraft-grade aluminum frame with a textured matte-black finish, it resists dents, scratches, UV fading, and daily wear better than traditional hard covers.
Instead of traditional clamps, the Solid Fold ALX uses Extang’s Secure Rotary Release Latching System, which lets you open the cover with a simple twist-and-lift motion and automatically latches shut against the bed rails for security.
The tri-fold design allows 2/3 bed access when folded toward the cab, giving you easy room to load longer items without removing the entire cover. Premium polymer rubber corners, hinge cap seals, and snap-on perimeter seals help keep out rain and debris, while a tool-free Jaw-Grip clamp installation makes setup quick and straightforward.
Despite its lightweight build, the Solid Fold ALX is strong—capable of supporting heavy, evenly distributed loads—and comes backed by a limited warranty for added peace of mind.
